In 2007, H.E.Ambassador Kaoru ISHIKAWA was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Arab Republic of Egypt.

He was graduated from Faculty of Law, the University of Tokyo, and then he studied at l'Ecole Nationale d'Administration, Paris.

In 1972 Joint the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Before coming to Egypt, he served as Director General of Global Affairs Department and then Director General of Economic Affairs Bureau.
