Quality Assurance

Since we claim to be a distinctive university of high quality research and education, then we have to develop our own system of Quality assurance.

We need this to:

  1. Have measurable and quantified continuous improvement.
  2. Show out quality system and evidence to the external world.
  3. For degree accreditation and acceptance in the scientific community.

We need to show evidence of quality in all our activities.

We will start by organizing training courses for all faculty members run by the National Agency for Quality and Accreditation, NAQAAE. The first course will be organized for five days course in self assessment.

There are several standards of Quality in the world. What we need to consider at first is the Egyptian system to gain respect in our national community. The Japanese standard and American standard shall be considered as well with the help of our Japanese advisors and experience of faculty in the committee.

According to all quality standards, there exist similar features that constitute the pillars of the quality system:

  1. Clear and well publicized objectives and system.
  2. Well- Documented evidences of achievement.
  3. Metrics for interpreting the current status as measured by several assessment tools.
  4. Evidence of involvement of stakeholders, faculty, students, administration, parents and local community in the whole quality process.
  5. Evidence of improvement based on group discussions and brain storming.
