Chemical and Petrochemicals Engineering Department (CPE)

The Chemical and Petrochemicals Engineering Department (CPE) at the Egypt – Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) invites applications for a faculty position in the Chemical and Petrochemicals Engineering Program at the assistant/associate/level. The successful candidate will complement and add to the program's foundational strength in bimolecular engineering, biochemical engineering and biomedical engineering. Also, applicants in the biotechnology field with an engineering background are welcome to apply.

Applicants should have a PhD degree in the mentioned fields, and demonstrated excellence in research and strong commitment to teaching the related courses, such as introduction to biomacromolecules, molecular biotechnology, fundamentals of biotransport phenomena,engineering aspects of controlled drug delivery and fundamentals of membrane science for biological separations.
Faculty members are expected to develop and maintain an internationally recognized and externally funded research program, teach graduate and undergraduate courses, advise students, and undertake service activities within the university and in the professional community.

E-JUST is a governmental research-oriented university with a partnership with twelve Japanese universities. It has good research facilities and infrastructure support. Located at New Borg El-Arab City, Alexandria, Egypt, E-JUST is in the core of most of the chemical and petrochemical industries in Egypt.
